Even though I love the new colors on the blog (and header), it still feels not right, so I will be tweaking things. Sorry for the mess. I promise it will be in order soon.
I am doing some revamping today. Working out some of the glitches with commenting and such.
Ok ok... I have been really trying hard to avoid this word, but it appears I may have to be honest with all my bloggy buddies. The next 2 weeks are going to be a big (BIG) struggle for me. I really have been trying to post more, but it is hard and there is a really good reason for it. I can't divulge the details right now, but it's a really REALLY dramatic change and even though it has nothing to do with the blog, it is still having a serious affect on my time. Yes, I know I still have time to go to the beach, but that is different. That is super valuable Nick and Mimi time. I hope you all forgive me for being a slacker... especially on the cusp of my one year bloggiversary.
By the way, I will have something exciting planned for May 3rd. Potspoon!'s birthday will be celebrated, even if nothing else goes up. I will still post (I hope), but sporadically. And my next COPD post is almost done. Again, I just really want to get all the info in there and with not too much time I am going between an elementary book and a post-doctoral dissertaion in my writing style. Not good. Ay, me.
Pretty much (as if it weren't obvious), my posting frequency will be erratic. The posts will seem short. It's only temporary.
Aside being super busy from work, I have been working on a post dedicated to one of my readers. I had been working so hard to get all the information correct, I didn't even realize so many days had gone by! I should have been posting something along the way, but alas... I am a scatterbrain. Hopefully I will get this post done today, but I also have more bags to paint and some other stuff to settle. Argh.
Hope you had a good one... I've picked up more shifts than normal but I haven't forgot my site. I will have a special science snippet post later! For now, enjoy a sunset with me via phone...
Read more...Sorry about the lack of actual posting, but it appears that despite my best efforts, I am sick. It started a bit on Sunday, but man, now it's really kicking my butt. I feel blah, achy, more blah, congested, and just plain blah. That is what I get for talking smack on the cold. It's stalking me now. Urgh. Hope you are having a good week!
Ok ok... I give. Since my website seems to keep getting kicked by IE (Internet Explorer) because of some of the scripting... I am going to a very old blogger template. Unfortunately this means I will lose any of my wonderful comments, but it's ok. I will still have them save on a JS -kit website so that I can remenisc on all the wonderful things you all write. I'm quite sad as I really love the new layout, but I am here to please so I must revert. So many of you liked it as well, but I am sure I will come up with something. Oh, and don't forget to start thinking about your posts for Monday Blues. Tomorrow's is going to be over at SeaLaura, so go leave your links in the comments there.
It has come to my attention (thanks Mom!) that my site does not load properly in Internet Explorer. I am not really sure how to fix this, but it does load in Firefox just fine. You can download it here. However, don't forget to read my official post for today.
I know I said I would restart the Debate!s after the election and I swear I am getting to it. I have a ton of ideas, but have to do a lot of research before I can convey both sides of the arguments, I think. Mostly it's school exhaustion and laziness, though. I am such a slacker.
Sorry to everyone out there. It has been a hectic week here at Potspoon! Between school and self actualization (hehe, big word) when I finally was ready to post something, bam!, something else. I would rather not talk about too much, but know that the pupae mostly emerged. I expect the rest tomorrow. School is still eh. Floyd is happy. The hubs likes his job. So there are some good things in there. Oh yeah, and I still live in paradise. Perspective. Gotta keep it in perspective.

I know it has been a few (not that many, I think) days since I posted anything, it has just been weird around here and I just have been coming home from school and work with my brain fried. Really. Like an egg. Because of my lack of ability to think of anything at the moment, I leave you with this... A pig nursing three tiger cubs: a new way of interpreting "suckling pig." So cute.
I will post something... don't worry. I write down all my post ideas, sometimes they just don't come out right!
I'm dreadfully sorry the new video isn't up like I promised, but there are a lot of good reasons behind it! My very best friend (besides my husband) is working on scripts for me so that I can say things without so much hesitation. I know the stuff, I'm just nervous! She will also appear in episodes as needed. The show was our idea and hopefully she will get her computer working again so she can help me keep up with this website. Thanks for your patience!
