Fantastic article on ScienceDaily about monarchs medicating their offspring. You all know how much I love butterflies. Pretty amazing that the host plants the larvae eat can actually reduce parasitic infection. Go inverts!

This video was posted October 1st. It comes in and out of the news occassionally, but the fact is, this disaster (while minimal compared to oil disasters on the coast of Africa) serves as a wake up call to us here.
