Monday blues

>> Monday, May 4, 2009

It's official. I really am blue. Tomorrow I leave my beloved St. Thomas for Florida. Nick and I have spent the day revisiting spots in our history. It's ok. I know we'll be back. We have 6 years of history here. We met here. We got married here. While I am always up for a good adventure, it's a bit bittersweet in the end. New adventures await!

P.S. don't forget to sign up for my giveaway. I will do a drawing on the 10th at 5 pm EST.

wow, enjoy your visits down memory lane.  when I left LA to go to grad school in Indiana, it was hard, I would tear up as I left the cali coast.  But I  had so many experiences that I couldn't have had in LA.  My life has taken me to many cities/country that I never expected to go but I am so glad I did.  Chin up, darling, this is not good bye, it is hello!

Oh, my--good luck and all the best in your new move! I was in the Caribbean (although not your island) last week and it really did seem like paradise to this Midwestern gal.  I'll miss your Caribbean pics, but I look forward to hearing your new adventures!

Wow - how's that for karma?  Or something?   I left Florida on May 4th to come back home to Canada.  And you left to go to Florida!!  Wonder if we passed in the airport?  I was in Lauderdale.  Where were you?  Not that it matters now.

I did not realize that you were leaving permanently (or long-term temp?).  I thought it was just a trip to Florida.

Well, good luck.  And post soon.  Keep us up to date.
Lots of hugs,

Hey, how did I get to be a Guest?  My comment above was from Wendy.  And here's a pic to remember the tropics (o.k. so this was taken in Florida, so what?)
